We are seeking an Inkjet Imaging Print Technician to join our team at our Broadview, Illinois facility.

The role of an Inkjet Imaging Technician involves, setup, maintaining and, troubleshooting high speed commercial inkjet equipment integrated onto offset web presses for ink jetting variable imaging to include mailing addresses, bar codes, logos and the like specified by customer, manufacturing and postal requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review job and print specifications prior to printing to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensuring equipment is setup properly and appropriate print positions are maintained.
  • Strong attention to detail; we strive for quality to meet or exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and perform quality checks of all live production on a frequent basis.
  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, primarily Kodak 6240, DH91, S10imaging systems using CS410 controller software along with HP 4/c C800 inkjet configurations.
  • Perform any routine maintenance of equipment; checking fluid levels, cleaning filters, etc.
  • May need to print box labels or tray tags per production requirements.
  • Familiar with Windows based PC’s, basic computer skills.
  • Familiar with operation of multi-meters and other test equipment.
  • Familiar with industrial devices such as pumps, motors, valves and power supplies.
  • Collaborate with production personnel regarding imaging capabilities and requirements for jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Routinely inspect inkjet equipment for proper function and/or anomalies that may hinder future production expectations.
  • Great attendance history. Punctuality and dependability is a must!!
  • Flexible schedule. Will need to work 12hr shifts (to cover vacations) and, work weekends when our production schedule requires.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of SG360 internally and externally.
  • Follow proper work procedures to comply with SG360 policy safety and security rules.

Educational/Experience:

  • Experience with inkjet imaging systems and knowledge of postal regulations for standard mail. 5 years experience is a Plus.
  • 2 year (ET) technical degree or military training desirable.
  • High School Diploma, GED.

Physical:

  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to walk/stand for entire assigned work shift
  • Lifting over 50 pounds during set-up of equipment
  • May be exposed to hot/humid and/or dusty environment
  • May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors to include UV chemicals
